The Qantas Wallabies have in a short period made Sydney Olympic Park's ANZ Stadium a happy hunting ground!. As a snapshot here are a few of the highlights!
The ‘Greatest ever' Rugby Match in 2000, before a world record crowd of 109,874, when a Jonah Lomu try sealed an All Blacks win over the Qantas Wallabies 39-35. The All Blacks had led 24-nil after 11 minutes only to see Australia draw level at 24 all by half time.
The Qantas Wallabies securing their first ever series win against the British Lions 29-23 in July 2001 when Test newcomer Justin Harrison stole a Lions lineout ball only five metres from the Australian line with two minutes remaining.
John Eales' emotional farewell in 2001 when Totai Kefu stole victory and the Bledisloe Cup from New Zealand in the final minute reaching out to score a try between a maze of All Black arms and legs.
England golden boy Jonny Wilkinson and his drop goal to break a 17-17 deadlock with just 30 seconds remaining in extra time of an epic Rugby World Cup final at ANZ Stadium (formerly Telstra Stadium) in 2003.
