Qualified coaches from Hockey NSW teach children 8 - 12 years in a fun, safe environment. Indoor is a faster version of outdoor hockey, played on a Basketball court with 6 players no off side and no lifting of the ball except for shots at goal. Beginners practice hand-eye coordination then the basics such as grip, push & trap and moving the ball off the boards. The emphasis is on having a lot of fun playing mini games whilst learning these skills. All equipment is supplied but participants should bring their own mouth guard. On completion of the program children will receive a certificate of skill achievement and a show bag.
