Athletics
Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre is a multi-functional Athletic Centre opened in 1994. The complex operates as two-arenas as an international standard track and field facility for competition events in the Main arena, and training facilities track on the Warm up arena. The track in both arenas is an IAAF approved Mondo Sportflex Super X. All Track and Field events are facilitated including all running, throws, hurdles, steeplechase and jumps events.
Play It
The two athletics arenas can be used for training and coaching purposes right up to National competitions, like the Telstra A Series. Schools and communities are welcome to book the facilities to hold any school sporting or athletics carnivals or community athletics events.

Team Athletics "Have a go Athletics" is also a fun program that may run in the school holiday sports program 'Kids in the Park' available at Sydney Olympic Park. Watch It
The grandstand in the Main arena seats 5000 people, with grass banks available for use or temporary stands. The centre is used for national track and field championships and a range of development activities including school carnivals, community events and home to the Telstra A series.
