The New South Wales Hall of Champions is the state's premier hall of fame and museum which celebrates the outstand
ing sporting achievements of our athletes.
Famous names, great moments and inspired performances are honoured here. Located on the gallery level of the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, the museum houses an impressive display of action photographs highlighting the feats of over 300 athletes representing 47 sports such as:
Every year selected Champions are added to the "Roll of Honour" by the NSW Minister for Sport. Contemporary names such as athletics star Melinda Gainsford-Taylor, rugby league’s Laurie Daley and Olympic skiier Zali Steggall are also included.
Displays of medals, certificates, trophies, pennants, uniforms, equipment and Olympic memorabilia bring our great sporting heritage to life.
The museum is open from 9 am to 5 pm seven days per week. Admission is free.

A prized collection: Trophies from our Sporting Champions
The exhibition features trophies and awards from many of the Hall’s inductees, including swimmers Andrew 'Boy' Charlton and Shane Gould, tennis great Jack Crawford and soccer star Joe Marston.
