Sydney Olympic Park is Australia's premier sporting events hub, the Park is attracting the entire range of sports affiliated services, businesses and partners. Building on the established legacy of world-class venues, infrastructure and central location the Park showcases one of the most significant and integrated sporting centres in the world a 'Sports Town'.

The Park is a hub for people to engage in sport in a variety of ways. Not only a place to play or watch sport at all levels but a place that allows sport to manage business, present courses, train referees and future administrators, set its future direction and work with like-minded organisations such as the sports medicine fraternity and world renowned institutes, academies and institutions. The Park is now home to 47 sporting organisations and is Australia's sports administration headquarters.

The 'Home of Sport' at Sydney Olympic Park offers established and emerging sports and their businesses an opportunity to leverage the key advantages of the sporting expertise and community at the Park to grow with us. 

The Sydney Olympic Park Sports Development team provides assistance to sports associations and sports industry organisations to engage with Sydney Olympic Park and its venues.

Whether it is to develop elite competition, training and development centres and grassroots community participation activities or an administrative base, we are here to assist. The team can also provide information and assistance on the preparation of event bids for sources of funding, through agencies such as NSW Department of Sport and Recreation and Events NSW Pty Ltd.

Sydney Olympic Park is a unique and world class Olympic legacy and has been developed into a Sports Town - a precinct founded, developed, and inspired by sport, its ideals, character and the Australian spirit.

Sydney Olympic Park’s ‘Sport Town’ is the first Olympic and Paralympic Games precinct to achieve such a development through an integrated sports industry model. By preserving the Olympic legacy and the environment the sports township incorporates best practice sustainable community development creating a place of health and well-being and positions the Park as one of the World’s leading examples of Sports Township development that continues to inspire.
