Located alongside the Armory Theatre, the Armory Amphitheatre is a shaded and powered outdoor stage area measuring 12mtrs x 10mtrs. It is large enough to accommodate a 60-piece orchestra. A tarquette is available for dance and other physical performance. The natural grassy slope to the west provides picnic-style seating for audiences up to 4,000.
Its position adjacent to the Armory Theatre gives access to the back-of-house facilities and technical facilities to support productions. The venue is ideal for performances, concerts, presentations, participatory workshops and as a focal point for community events and celebrations.
