The pattern on the glass panels located on the four entrances of the Telstra Stadium is inspired by the original logo of the Telstra Stadium. The logo consists of concentric circles, which is an indigenous symbol for a meeting place. The stadium is meeting place and a symbolic centre of the Olympic Venue this led to the influenced usage of the Aboriginal Symbol for meeting place/water hole used in Aboriginal dot paintings. Approval was sought and granted from the NSW Aboriginal Land Council for the use of the logo.

The logo was also influenced by the Olympic Rings; symbolic use of the colours and the dots celebration and fireworks that form part of any major sporting event at the stadium; and the architectural design of the Stadium Australia (now Telstra Stadium) being based on circles, which was an architectural differentiator in stadium design at the time.
