"Fred" - the Spider
I know a little spider,
Whose name is called “Fred”,
He always jumps about and,
Hides in the shed.

He is quite a nuisance,
Hanging around in the house,
Biting my foot and toes,
I rather he be eaten by a mouse.

One dark night,
When I was sleeping in bed,
He came out of his home and,
Quickly crawled around my head.

I suddenly woke up,
What a shock I got!
Then I realised I was dreaming,
Next morning, I just forgot.

In a dark, dark cave
In a dark, dark cave where a spider lived, he was spinning there and I named him Sid.
He was kind and quiet and wanted a swim, and I said okay you can, little Sid.

My Spider Poem
Spiders here, spiders there, spiders everywhere!
Climb up the tree, make a web, spin it high, catch a fly.
Eight legs in the air, body down.
Spiders here, spiders there, spiders everywhere!

The Spider Train
A clever spider is the Golden Orb
Who gives us many facts to absorb.
She builds her web of gossamer silk
In amazing places, which catch on our faces.

Her husband is smaller
And lives in the corner,
Sometimes he creeps down to feast on a snack
But if Mrs is cranky she sends him straight back.
