Experience Nature

Considered a nature “hot spot”, Sydney Olympic Park is home to hundreds of native plant and animal species, including birds, bats, reptiles and the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog.

Cycling and Walking Paths

Over 35 kilometres of cycling and walking paths and scenic boardwalks exist within beautiful parklands, rare saltmarshes, remnant forest, a waterbird refuge and mangrove forest, as well as places of historical colonial and naval significance.

Playgrounds, BBQ and Picnic areas

Park yourself in the Park’s beautiful surrounds, where you’ll be spoilt for choice. Sit back and enjoy a picnic lunch in one of the picturesque barbecue and picnic areas throughout the parklands at Sydney Olympic Park. Enjoy the active playgrounds, cool off in the water play areas and cap off the day with a bite to eat at one of our various cafes/restaurants.
