Sydney Olympic Park Authority offers Specialised Technical Programs which are designed for professional groups, international delegations and conference field trips. These programs offer ‘behind the scenes’ technical and expert information about Sydney Olympic Park.
Participants can benefit from the legacy of the “best ever” Olympic Games as they experience in-depth site tours, seminar presentations and discussion opportunities with experts involved in the extensive management, planning and day-to-day operations of the Park.
Sydney Olympic Park successfully hosted the 2000 Olympic Games and is now a large and diverse urban park covering 640 hectares with major sporting and entertainment venues, a commercial business park and 425 hectares of parklands.
The vision for Sydney Olympic Park is to become an internationally admired example of sustainable urban renewal and development as it moves from the gold medal sporting and events precinct to a vibrant township. Over the next 10 years up to $7 billion is expected to be spent on development in and around the town centre.
