Two new bus routes have commence operation at Sydney Olympic Park, from Chatswood (Route 533) and from Hurstville (Route 450). Also there will be increased services from Strathfield (Route 525) and Lidcombe (401). For more infomation view the Bus page.

There are significant changes to road and traffic control planned throughout November 2009 to allow construction work for the V8 Supercar Sydney 500 event.

The following road closures will occur to allow construction work for the Sydney 500 event:
Until further notice Grand Parade is left out only at Australia Avenue.
Australia Avenue traffic can not access Grand Parade.
The following road closures will occur between 7am and 7pm to allow for commercial filming to take place :
Detours will be in place and all traffic will be directed to Dawn Fraser Ave and Park St to access Herb Elliot Ave.
