Imagine yourself in Vienna for an evening... the most romantic city in the world. Andre Rieu's World Stadium Tour will take place against the background of the biggest transportable set ever, including a replica of the Castle of Schönbrunn.
The flamboyant performer known as ‘The Modern King of the Waltz’ will now have a three-night run at ANZ Stadium – 27, 28 & 29 November.
The violinist and conductor has achieved the recent record of 50 platinum awards in Australia in just over one year. His new album ‘Waltzing Matilda’ has already reached Platinum sales and debuted at number 2 on the Aria Album Chart.
André Rieu has had 15 titles in the Top 40 ARIA DVD chart this year and those titles recently accounted for 50% of all music DVD sales in Australia.
André is going to make further history when he brings to Australia not only his Johann Strauss Orchestra, his soloists, ice-dancers and the Vienna State Opera Ballet, but also the world's largest transportable concert set.
