Australian Institute of Steel Construction Award for Olympic Park Railway Station
Metal Buildings Award of Excellence, RAIA NSW Chapter: Architecture Award for Public Buildings to Stutchbury and Pape for Archery 2000, Homebush Bay.
Development Infrastructure Award for the Lighting Towers in Olympic Plaza
Environmental Engineering and Excellence Award for the 'Towers of Power' along Olympic Boulevard. This award recognises the innovative design and concept of the towers. Each tower features an array of solar panels with state-of-the-art, laser-grooved photovoltaic cells. Each tower generates the equivalent amount of electricity used to power 2 Australian households per year.
Engineering Excellence Awards
Banksia Foundation Environmental Award - Abigroup won the Construction Practices category for construction of the Sydney SuperDome. The SuperDome features numerous environmental initiatives in waste management, energy and water conservation, indoor air quality and the construction materials used in the building.
Gold RiverCare 2000 Award to the OCA in the State Government category for its integrated water management system at Homebush Bay. The award recognises OCA's commitment to the principles of best practice in all aspects of water management and its ecologically sustainable development achievements.

Australian Minerals Energy and Environment Foundation Environmental Excellence Awards - OCA finalist in the Communications Category
Stormwater Industry Association - Northern Water Feature.
Project Management Award for relocation of the Sydney Showground.
NSW Architecture Awards, Energy Efficiency Award to the Pavilion Architects, designers of the Munro and Grace pavilions.
US International Film and Video Festival: 'Creating the Vision' won a Silver Plaque and 'Millennium Parklands - a growing legacy' was awarded a certificate for creative excellence.
International Cinema in Industry (CINDY), California: 'Creating the Vision' and 'Building the legacy' both won Gold CINDYs while 'The Big Clean-Up' won a Bronze.
25th International Festival of Professional Films in the Slovak Republic, top prize to 'The Big Clean-up'.
Banksia Foundation Environmental Award - OCA was a Finalist in the category of Communication, for raising environmental awareness and understanding of environmental issues
INTERCOM, Chicago International Film Festival, Arts and Culture: Certificate of Merit to OCA for 'Creating the Vision'.
