Below is a list of Awards from 2000 that have been won by, or in association with the actions of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority's predecessor organisations, the Olympic Coordination Authority (OCA) and the Homebush Bay Development Corporation.
HASSELL won two merit awards in the 1999 Australian Institute of Landscape Architects NSW/ACT Awards for Achievement in Landscape Architecture in the master planning and urban and civic design categories. The awards were won for the Millennium Parklands Concept Design Plan and the Station Square at Homebush Bay.

Association of Consulting Engineers Australia National Engineering Awards 2000:
Royal Australian Institute of Architects' John Sulman awards were presented for the NSW Tennis Centre - Centre Court at Homebush Bay by Bligh Voller Nield
Structural Special Awards 2000 The Institution of Structural Engineers to Modus Consulting Engineers for Stadium Australia, built for the 2000 Olympics
NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) Awards 2000 Merit Award went to (Bridget Smyth, Anne Loxley and Katie Perry) the Olympic Co-ordination Authority for their contribution to the OCA Public Art Program

The Association of Consulting Engineers Australia Awards for Excellence
BHP Australian Steel Awards:
Australian Institute of Building, Professional Excellence in Building Awards NSW Chapter - Certificate of High Commendation Category, Project - awarded to Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
Australian Construction Achievements Awards Sydney Showground Exhibition Halls, highly commanded, March 2000.
A number of contractors have been recognised by the NSW Government (DPWS) and they include: Waiter Construction, Transfield, P Ward Civil Engineering, Thiess, John Holland, Abigroup, Kilpatrick Green, Kell & Rigby , Leightons & Mulitplex
Banksia Environmental Award to the OCA for Flora and Fauna Conservation (Green and Golden Bell Frog)
GOLD Banksia Environmental Award to the OCA for creation of GGBF Habitat and its work to conserve and protect the Green and Golden Bell Frog at Homebush Bay. Both of these awards reflect the contribution and commitment of a wide range of people and professions throughout the seven years that OCA has been working to conserve the species - including planners, developers, contractors, landscape managers and ecologists.
Gold Rivercare 2000 Award for Haslams Creek South to OCA and its contractor
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Regeneration Award (to the OCA) which honours projects that have improved areas of urban, rural or coastal decay. Entries must have checked or reversed deterioration by restoring, conserving or improving the built or natural environment, directly benefiting the wider community. This Award recognised the significance of the urban renewal of the Sydney Olympic Park site, a former saltworks, abattoir, brickworks, armament depot, and waste dump that underwent Australia's biggest ever land clean-up. The project is a model for urban wasteland rehabilitation, turning a degraded industrial site into a long term legacy for the people of NSW.

Case Earth Awards NSW to OCA's contractors, ESD International, were Finalists in Category 1 of these awards, for Green and Golden Bell Frog habitat construction works within the brickpit
