Connecting Sydney Olympic Park to its surrounding local communities is critical to ensure the successful evolution of the Park into a future township. Sydney Olympic Park Authority has a strong commitment to community engagement and social sustainability and continues to work hard to build relationships with local communities within and around the Park.
Sydney Olympic Park lies at the centre of Sydney’s greater metropolitan area. The Park offers a wide array of recreational and lifestyle facilities to those living and working in the surrounding suburbs of Newington, Homebush Bay, Rhodes, Liberty Grove, Concord West, Homebush and Silverwater, as well as those in the local government areas of Auburn, Canada Bay, Parramatta, Ryde and Strathfield.
Sydney Olympic Park Authority works closely with local councils to develop mutual objectives and to support greater collaboration on development plans to enhance current infrastructure and amenities.
