Minister for Sport and Recreation, Sandra Nori is reminding rugby league fans today that they can catch all the action and atmosphere of tonight’s State of Origin match at a live site with big screen next to Telstra Stadium at Sydney Olympic Park.
“With a forecast of fine weather for tonight, it’s a great opportunity for families to enjoy watching the footy at The Overflow, just next to Tesltra Stadium, where the big game will take place,” Ms Nori said.
“So come down to Sydney Olympic Park from 5pm and enjoy the next best thing to actually being in the stadium.
“It will be a great night out for any football fan, with entertainment and plenty of food and drink on offer. There’ll even be some pre-match entertainment at the live site from the Footy Show’s – The Nevilles,” Ms Nori added.
As the venue for the Sydney Olympic Games, Telstra Stadium has extensive security measures in place for the first State of Origin match.
