What is Master Plan 2030?

Sydney Olympic Park Master Plan 2030 is the blueprint for the future development of Sydney Olympic Park.

It is the culmination of an extensive and comprehensive process comprising relevant technical studies and stakeholder consultation.

The Draft Master Plan 2030 establishes planning principles and controls for the future development of Sydney Olympic Park relating to:

• sustainability
• public domain
• event access and closures
• land use and density
• building form and amenity
• access and parking
• landscape and site, and
• community facilities.

It also establishes specific controls and guidelines including land uses, site configuration, floor space ratios, building zones and setbacks, building heights, and events management for the nine precinct areas known as Central, Sports and Education, Stadia, Sydney Showground, Parkview, Haslams, Boundary Creek, Tennis and Southern Sports.
