Youth Eco Summit (YES) at Newington Armory

Once againThe Youth Eco Summit (YES) held on 22-23 October was hugely successful. More than 6,300 Australian and international students joined forces to workshop environmental, cultural and economic sustainability.

Building on the United Nations' 'International Year of Family Farming', the two-day summit saw students from 137 primary and secondary schools participate in more than 50 curriculum-linked hands-on workshops, interactive displays, seminars and presentations – all focussed on creating a more sustainable future for their families, schools and communities.
