State of the Environment Reports

Sydney Olympic Park produces an annual State of the Environment Report, the major public reporting framework communicating sustainability at Sydney Olympic Park. The 2005-2006 State of the Environment Report covers the period 1 July 2005- 30 June 2006 and is incorporated in the annual report.

 Environment Reports and Case Studies

Sydney Olympic Park Authority supports an active program of environmental monitoring and research. This program:

• allows an adaptive management approach, providing rapid response to landscape and habitat issues;
• provides recommendations for management to properly manage, maintain and improve the Park;
• allows the Authority to assess its performance in managing the Parks natural and built assets in a dynamic environment;

• provides a baseline dataset against which change can be assessed;

• provides information for educational programs;

• Assists the Authority to meet regulatory and corporate compliance obligations
