Review of Environmental Risk Assessments (1990-1995): Executive Summary
Sydney Olympic Park Authority commissioned a review of the human health and environmental risk assessments (ERAs) that have been undertaken at the site from 1990 to 1995. The aim of this review was to:
- Compare site risk assessment methods against current risk assessment guidelines to assess the effectiveness of steps taken during remediation to minimise risks; and
- Identify any gaps or over-protective measures taken as part of those early risk assessment procedures.
This information will form the basis for ongoing effectiveness monitoring and help site managers streamline their risk management activities.
