Youth Eco Summit (YES)

The Youth Eco Summit (YES) is a curriculum-based sustainability festival for school students and their teachers. Recognised by the United Nations and the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage, YES promotes student leadership and features student sustainability practices. With interactive displays and experiences, student and school showcases, and free teaching resources. YES is a Primary School focussed event with Secondary schools invited to share and showcase achievements.

Event Details

Students will be able to share their views and discoveries though discussion and global interaction.  YES offers the opportunity for students and providers to present their current achievements in sustainability, and inspire ongoing action for change

Showcase your School… YES is about empowering young people to teach their peers.  If your students want to attend, share learning and achievements, present displays and/or lead workshops, YES can help make this happen!

Participating schools can choose to attend on one of two action packed days:

  • Wednesday 19 October, or
  • Thursday 20 October

Cost is just $7 per student, with showcasing schools attending for free.
