Enviro Numeracy – Mathematics

This fun field trip to Sydney Olympic Park challenges Stage 2 primary mathematics students to apply their mathematical skills in practical ways.

On an excursion of Bicentennial Park, students take an adventure trail through the natural wetlands and surrounding parkland area.

In the stimulating outdoor environment, students are asked to solve problems using:

  • numeracy skills
  • knowledge of volume, ratio, mass, shapes and angles

This educational school excursion to Sydney Olympic Park supports Stage 2 Mathematics NSW curriculum.

Learning comes alive with outdoor school programs at Sydney Olympic Park. Bicentennial Park is the perfect venue for primary school programs. The 100-hectare natural heritage site has an important wetland ecosystem and 40 hectares of parklands to discover.
