Excursion Costs and Booking Policies
- K-6: $387.50 per class group(20-30 students) / $310 (under 20 students)
- 7-10: $426 (20-30 students) / $340 (under 20 students)
- 11-12: $550(20-30 students) / $440 (under 20 students)
- School excursions K-10 run from 10am to 2pm
- Senior High school programs run from 9.15am until 2.15pm
Class sizes for the excursion can not exceed 30 students in accordance with the risk management policies. Please note, that the total group size (students, teachers and parents) cannot exceed 34 people.
From time to time we are able to buddy small groups together to reduce the total cost. Please advise the Booking Coordinator if you would like to be considered for buddying. If we are unable to find a buddy for you, a minimum fee will be charged.
If you are buddying with another school please ensure that you arrive at the advertised start time as the excursion will begin at the time if one of the buddy schools has arrived.
A cancellation fee will be applicable if the excursion is cancelled within 4 weeks of the confirmed date or if the class numbers are reduced. A cancellation fee of $160 per class cancelled will apply.
Tip: Make a note in your diary to do a final head count and then call our Bookings Coordinator on 02 9714 7888 with the final number of classes no later than 4 weeks prior to your booking.
If the forecast is for rain, please call the Education team on 0408 131 526 the day prior to the excursion to discuss your options for rescheduling. As we are an outdoor education facility, wet weather options are not available and therefore we do advise rescheduling.
Please note that if the school cancels on the morning of your excursion day due to rain you may incur a cancellation fee.
