Our Place - COG's Unit - Early Stage 1

This excursion allows students to actively explore the special features of the park and develop an understanding of the term environment. The park is home for many animals and plants and the students will gain an insight on how to care for the parklands and places that are special to them. Students will compare built and natural environments looking at simple design aspects; discover the past and present uses of the park and how these sites are utilised by the public. Students will assess safety features of the park and critique the rules and regulations in regards to their safe play.
