was successful again at the NSW Restaurant and Catering Association Annual Awards held in Sydney recently.
Proudly building on the success of 2004,
EMC won the 2005 title for "Venue Caterer".
The Sydney SuperDome presented its extensive catering credentials at a recent concert which included servicing its Private Suite facilities for over 40 permanent and casual lessees,
coordinating functions for 1000 guests attending private VIP post show events and turning over 20,
000 patrons purchasing meals and refreshments from restaurants and retail outlets inside the venue.
Backstage catering for the 250 crew and performers counted toward the score that earned the award.

"Caterer of the Year" & "Caterer at a Major Event".
All conferences and functions held at the Sydney SuperDome are treated to the award winning catering and service of EMC. "Our strength in presenting quality food and superior service has been consistently growing over the past six years",

Development takes another step forward
Over the next 25 years Sydney Olympic Park is poised to become an internationally recognised example of intelligent place-making. A dynamic and diverse township for living,
working ,
learning and recreation. A place for all people set within a world-class built and natural environment.
The Park is already realising this vision,
following the announcement that the Commonwealth Bank of Australia will relocate 2,
200 employees to the Park in 2007.
Sydney Olympic Park Authority CEO,
Brian Newman,
agrees that the relocation to Sydney Olympic Park will have a major impact. "Sydney Olympic Park welcomes the Commonwealth Bank of Australia to the precinct. I'm sure the Bank and its staff will come to enjoy the Park's healthy indoor and outdoor environment including the fantastic facilities and the Park's 425ha of diverse parkland. The Bank's relocation will add momentum to the Park's transition from an Olympic events venue to a unique vibrant township".
Mr Newman said that he is confident that more positive announcements will be forthcoming as Sydney Olympic Park continues to enjoy significantly increased utilisation and visitation.
