"With 9 venues and over 90 indoor and outdoor function spaces to choose from, Sydney Olympic Park is the perfect location for any type of team activity. Those attending the programs will have the opportunity to experience these activities within premier venues or the choice to explore open parklands," commented Mr Newman.

Fathers Day 5 @ Sydney Olympic Park

Don’t miss your chance to walk or run under Telstra Stadium and help raise funds for prostate cancer! On Sunday 3 September 2006 bring the family to Sydney Olympic Park and participate in a 5km EXPERIENCE, with heaps of on-course entertainment. Other highlights include the course passing through the Tennis Centre and the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre. Spend the day at the Fathers Day 5 and help raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer, the cause of more than 2,700 deaths in Australia each year.

Sydney Olympic Park welcomes the Medibank International Tennis Tournament 

Sydney Olympic Park will welcome back the international tennis community for Sydney’s premier international sporting event, the Medibank International. The Tennis Centre will host the tournament from 7-13 January 2007.

Prestigious, exciting and glamorous, the event continues to maintain its pre-eminent position in the world of tennis and Australian sport. Each year, the event attracts a standout field of top male and female players to do battle for the coveted titles and in excess of AUD$1,500,000 in prize money. The honour role is unquestionable with past men’s champions including Pete Sampras, Rodger Federer and our Lleyton Hewitt.

News from the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park!

On 22 July 2006, Novotel Sydney Olympic Park hosted, representatives from the NSW Liberal Party for an update session. Both State and Federal MP's were amongst the guests including Prime Minister, Mr John Howard, Mr Peter Debnam and Mr Malcolm Turnball.

The Hotel Ibis and The Brewery will be undergoing major refurbishments. The Brewery will be revamping inside and outdoor areas with a new deck to the current ground floor outdoor area. Decking will also be added to the outside area of Arena Bar on Level 1.
