Due to its unique and specific programming, Cinémathèque is contributing to audience development locally and regionally by introducing the history of cinema.
Cinewest Cinémathèque presents classic films by key figures from the history of world cinema.
On 26 February 2012, the Cinémathèque kicked off its Francois Truffaut season with his celebrated first film, The 400 Blows (1959). From July, the Stanley Kubrick season kicks off.
