Sydney Olympic Park is cooking-up the hottest events and activities to keep everyone entertained this summer. Here is a taste of some of the summer 2011-2012 highlights... 


DECEMBER 2011
2 Dec – 4 Dec Sydney Telstra 500
(V8 Supercars) Race by day and rock all night, with three explosive days of V8 racing and two massive nights of great Aussie acts incl John Farnham, Noiseworks, James Reyne, Jebediah and heaps more! 

3 Dec – 5 Feb (weekends only) designing your future 
Cutting-edge works from the prestigious, award winning design school, Lidcombe Design, TAFE NSW South Western Sydney Institute. Showcasing more than 80 pieces, designing your future, features award-winning rugs, furniture and architectural models.  Newington Armory, Armory Gallery FREE!

8 Dec Shared Christmas Party 
Gather up your work mates and join the celebrations at The Brewery’s Shared Company Christmas Party. The Brewery, Novotel $95 per person or $850 for a table of 10.

10 Dec  CareFlight’s Magic Mania

17 Dec – 29 Jan Kids in the Park 
More than 50 activities – including heaps of FREE and GOOD-VALUE options less than $20 per person – EVERY DAY of the summer school holidays to entertain all ages and all interests.

18 Dec  Disc Golf Handicap League Day 
Watch or play the fun sport that combines golf and Frisbee!  Newington Armory  FREE!

18 Dec Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy: Live

26 Jan Big Day Out

29 Jan Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2012 
The largest kids’ triathlon series in the world promotes a healthy active lifestyle. Suitable for kids of all levels. Aquatic Centre and Athletic Centre $40 standard registration fee.

29 Jan Sydney BMX Club Racing Day 
Sydney BMX runs regular club racing at the awesome Monster BMX track. Watch the action live or new riders can book a coaching session Monster BMX Track, Hill Road $5 for members $25 new riders, FREE to watch.

Daily Outdoor Chess

FEBRUARY 2011
1 Feb Cricket: KFC Intl T20 Aust v India

14 Feb – 15 Feb Roger Waters: The Wall (live)
