Free Movies by the Boulevard 2014

One of Australia’s most popular alfresco cinema events, Movies by the Boulevard at Sydney Olympic Park, will run for its thirteenth season during January 2014 – and best of all families and film-buffs, the event will remain FREE!

Held at the iconic Cathy Freeman Park (opposite ANZ Stadium) on Olympic Boulevard at Sydney Olympic Park, the 2014 series of FREE Movies by the Boulevard will operate on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 2-5, 9-12 and 16-19 January.

Designed to appeal to audiences of all ages and tastes, FREE Movies by the Boulevard 2014 will showcase 11 feature films from various genres, before culminating with a collection of foreign short films rarely seen in mainstream cinema from the ‘Short Soup International Short Film Festival’.

Movies will commence on the big-screen at 8.30pm and a quality selection of food and beverages will be available for purchase at Cathy Freeman Park from 6.00pm on all 12 event nights.

Movie-goers will also find a great range of cafés, bars and restaurants across Sydney Olympic Park and unlike other cinema events, Movies by the Boulevard attendees are welcome to take a packed picnic as well as cushions, rugs or low chairs.

Movies by the Boulevard has entertained hundreds of thousands of Sydneysiders since its inaugural season and more than 30,000 people are expected to attend the 2014 season.

The FREE Movies by the Boulevard 2014 program will be released soon.
