Put a spring in your step these school holidays at Sydney Olympic Park

Sydney Olympic Park’s much-loved Kids in the Park school holidays program will be in full-bloom this spring with activities on every day of the school holidays from 20 September – 06 October (inclusive).
The action-packed school holiday program of more than 60 activities for kids of all ages includes six new options and many FREE and good-value boredom-busters for less than $20 to suit children of all ages. Whether kids are interested in adventurous, sporty, creative or nature-loving pursuits, they’ll be spoilt for choice at Sydney Olympic Park these holidays.
Sporty kids can enjoy more than 25 energy-burning activities, including the new CricketNSW – in2CRICKET (23 Sep for $49) and CricketNSW - T20 Blast half-day camps (24 and 25 Sep for $99). Football fans can practice their skills at the AC Milan Junior Soccer Camp from 30 Sep – 2 Oct for $325 including an official shirt, shorts and socks for each child. Budding circus performers can also get their hearts racing with Circus Skills (22-26 Sep and 29 Sep-3 Oct for $25) and Flying Trapeze (22-26 Sep and 29 Sep-3 Oct for $60 per lesson).
For adventure-loving kids there is a range of activities to suit all ages, including the new Fizzics Education – Super Science hands-on workshop with a series of cool experiments on 25 September for $40 per child and King Tut’s Mystery Maze (22-26 Sep and 29 Sep – 3 Oct, FREE). Young detectives will love solving the mystery at Crack the Code at the Armory (weekends, FREE with $5 refundable deposit) and following Clue Trails (Daily, FREE). The popular adrenalin-filled aerial attraction, Urban Jungle Adventure Park will also be open daily for $35 per child or adult, including entry to the Aquatic Centre.
Creative kids’ imaginations will run wild with activities including Kids on Canvas, where budding artists can learn to create their very own masterpiece with techniques and skills taught from a professional artist (25 Sep and 2 Oct, $45 BYO Materials or add $10 for equipment hire) and Operation Art, the premier state-wide visual arts exhibition for school students from Kindergarten to Year 10 will be on display daily, with FREE entry at the Armory Gallery.
Nickolodeon Slimefest will let kids get up-close and personal with their favourite music performers on 26 September (tickets from $65) and film-lovers will enjoy the Kids in the Park Film Festival on 22 September ($5 per child or $10 per adult).
Nature-enthusiasts will enjoy the fresh-air and sights of Walking Safaris around the Park (daily, FREE) or a visit to the BirdLife Discovery Centre at Newington Armory (Weekends, FREE). Park Patrol – Mighty Minibeats will please inquisitive animal-lovers as they learn about how small invertebrates disguise and hide themselves to survive in the big wide world (25 Sep, FREE).
