Sydney Royal Easter Show 2014

TICKETHOLDERS URGED TO TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO SYDNEY ROYAL EASTER SHOW 2014 AT SYDNEY OLYMPIC PARK

The 2014 Sydney Royal Easter Show will officially open at 9.00am tomorrow (10 April) and continue to operate daily until 23 April (inclusive) at the Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park.

During the Show, road closures will be enforced and heavy traffic is expected in and around Sydney Olympic Park. ShowLink ticketholders are strongly advised to leave the car at home and take advantage of public transport, which is included in the cost of all admission tickets.

Increased public transport services will operate throughout the Show.

Media reporters and commentators are reminded that Sydney Olympic Park has been officially declared a suburb by the NSW Geographical Naming Board. Please use the correct reference ‘Sydney Olympic Park’ (or if necessary, ‘Olympic Park’) and NOT Homebush, which is a separate suburb serviced by its own railway station approximately three kilometres away from Olympic Park railway station.

During the Easter long weekend car parks at Sydney Olympic Park are expected to reach capacity. Those planning to drive to the Show despite advice should pre-book parking via the Sydney Olympic Park website for a flat rate of $25.
