Monster of a Saturday at Sydney Olympic Park
15 Oct 2015
Fans urged to arrive early and take public transport
Sydney Olympic Park is geared-up for bumper crowds this Saturday 17 October. Monster Jam’s biggest performers on four wheels will take over ANZ Stadium attracting 55,000 fans, while world famous K-pop band BIGBANG will perform to 12,000 fans the Australian leg of their world tour at Allphones Arena.
Event ticketholders are urged to take public transport and plan to arrive early. Monster Jam tickets include the cost of train travel. Train services will follow the regular weekend timetable.
While traffic delays are expected in-and-around the Park, those who choose to drive despite advice should check recommended alternative driving routes and pre-book parking via Sydney Olympic Park website.
ANZ Stadium gates will open at 5pm and engines will start at 7pm for a guaranteed heart racing experience. Across the road at Allphones Arena, K-pop sensations and fashion icons, BIGBANG will perform live on-stage from 8pm.
There’ll be more than 30 cafés, restaurants and bars operating throughout the day and into the evening including food stalls and vans, all within strolling distance of the major venues.
