Fans Urged to Leave The Car at Home And Take Public Transport

Sydney Olympic Park is geared-up and ready for large crowds on #Syd28Nov, when Taylor Swift, Stereosonic, 2015 AUS X Open and the Australian Short Course Championships will all be held at Olympic Park on Saturday, 28 November 2015.

More than 150,000 people are expected within the Park, event ticketholders are urged to leave the car at home, take public transport and arrive early. Extra train and bus services will operate to accommodate event ticket-holders, and those who choose to drive despite advice should pre-book their car parking and consider car-pooling. Car parks will fill on the day, pre-book car parking bookings can be made via SydneyOlympicPark.com.au.


Lanes will open early at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre for the Australian Short Course Championships, where future Olympians will battle it out day and night for the Australian National Champion title.

Electro-music fans will be able to dance to the genre’s greatest artists at Stereosonic, Sydney Showground. Doors open 1pm. 

Engines of the world’s biggest names in Supercross will start at 6.30pm at the 2015 AUS X Open, Allphones Arena. There will be non-stop racing and trick action, doors open 4.30pm.

At ANZ Stadium, global superstar Taylor Swift will grace the stage with her sold out Sydney show, part of the 1989 World Tour. It’s recommended that parents attending with children who do not wish to travel on public transport, pre-book car parking and consider car-pooling.

More than 30 cafés, restaurants and bars will operate extended hours right across the day and into the evening at Sydney Olympic Park.
