THE ultimate trans-Tasman rivalry is back at ANZ Stadium when the Qantas Wallabies face the All Blacks in the opening game of the Bledisloe Cup on Saturday 19 August.

The new-look Qantas Wallabies will be out to defend home turf against the old enemy as they continue the hunt for Bledisloe glory in 2017. The rivalry in the stands and on the field is guaranteed to be fierce, so don your green & gold and get behind the Qantas Wallabies in this trans-Tasman blockbuster.

Over 70,000 people will be coming to Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 19 August multiple events. Traffic will be very heavy so plan your trip, arrive early, and catch public transport.

Times:

6pm Gates Open
8pm Kick-off: Qantas Wallabies v New Zealand
9.45pm: Finish

 Party starts from 4pm:

  •  Precinct lit up in gold and the Olympic Cauldron lit 
  •  International Street Food stalls
  •  ARU Inflatable rugby pitch and Sports Star kids clinics in Cathy Freeman Park 
  •  Live band in Cathy Freeman Park
  •  Food, merchandise and family activities outside ANZ Stadium
  •  Wallabies arrival around around 6pm at ANZ Stadium.

Top Tips:

  • Arrive early and enjoy the wide range of cafes, bars and restaurants in the park.
  • Take public transport. Travel on all public transport including direct trains running and Major Event Buses will also be running on all routes. Visit transport info for more info and information on trackwork.
  • If driving, plan your trip and pre-book your parking. Note: A flat rate parking fee of $25 applies and can be pre-booked until 11.59pm the night before the event. (unless sold out)
  • Avoid the queues and kick on after the game as ther will be plenty of cafes & bars staying open late & live music in Cathy Freeman Park.
  • Bledisloe Cup fans are encouraged to arrive early and leave additional time for the security screening process when entering the Stadium. This process will include mandatory bag searches and personal checks.
  • Only small bags (no larger than 30cm x 40cm) are permitted into ANZ Stadium, and all bags will be checked by security. Fans should arrive without bags if possible.
