Discover the ecological secrets of Sydney Olympic Park with an informative walking tour led by Park Managers from Sydney Olympic Park Authority.

Hear how the Park was transformed from an urban wasteland into an ecological and community asset in the lead-up to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

See habitats built for the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog, and exciting new restoration works underway to create shrubland habitat for declining woodland birds.

Visit the Park’s recycled water plant that supplies non-potable water to buildings and facilities across the Park, and learn about the challenges of managing for ecological values in an urbanised area.

Tours leave promptly at the specified start-time.

This tour involves an easy-grade 1½ hour guided walk, leaving from the Congress venue.  A good level of fitness is required.  Numbers are strictly limited – bookings required.
