Gone
Drawing
My body of work, Gone, consists of six pen drawings in which I explore the concepts of inner growth, the varying relationships between past and present, and the gradual changes in my personality. I chose to demonstrate this gradual transformation by using architecture from different time periods to represent the integral role that objects and environments play in my perception of the world. I chose Fineliner pens, the most familiar tool for me, and used their short pen strokes to create an achromatic and gloomy texture which expresses a past-in-the-present connection between my childhood and my present life.
