The Fragility of Existence
My work comprises seven main drawings that are integrated through tree roots. The concept of my work stems from the cycle of life and death, the fascination of the purity and fragility of life that is often overshadowed by the immorality of humanity. I have purposely darkened the beginning pieces to represent death and the emptiness it creates while the ending drawings are lighter and are enriched with flora and fauna and human life, encompassing the wonder. My works although a true reflection of the darkness and lightness experienced throughout human existence, is the symbolism of my personal growth.
