A portrait is only the ghost of a human
Collection of Works
My body of work embraces the triviality of physical detail and the absence of emotion. I represent ordinary people from my life and imagination in a way that is eerily statue-like, expressing the concepts of beauty and strength in their most elemental state. My work disregards the archaic associations that sculpted figures have with class, social status, gender and beauty standards, while maintaining the graceful and dignified poise of the people represented.
