School Excursion Programs

Get out of the classroom and into the fresh air. We have over 20 unique field-based primary and secondary excursions for students K-12.

  • Experience hands-on learning through a range of engaging and challenging fieldwork activities.
  • Explore our protected wetland habitats with many native plants and animals.
  • Learn about the culture and traditions of the local Aboriginal people – the Wangal.
  • Learn about our sustainable development in one of Sydney’s newest suburbs since the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Programs are curriculum-based and aligned to NSW Syllabus for Science, Geography, and History.

Find out why over 300 schools visit us for curriculum based school excursions each year, with most teachers returning again and again…

All onsite education excursions have been cancelled for the remainder of Term 3 2020. Virtual learning experiences through Sydney Olympic Park Live are now available. We can tailor the excursion to the curriculum needs of the individual class. Get in touch with our team directly education@sopa.nsw.gov.au.
