Founded by Prince Harry in 2014, the Invictus Games is an international sporting event for wounded, injured and ill service men and women, both active duty and veteran. Rather than an elite sports competition, the Invictus Games is for competitors of all abilities and seeks to ignite their unconquerable spirit.
The Invictus Games Sydney 2018 will bring together more than 500 competitors from 18 nations for an eight-day celebration of the healing power of sport.
Archery, athletics, indoor rowing, powerlifting, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby events will be staged at Sydney Olympic Park venues.
Celebrate the unconquered human spirit of our wounded warriors at the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 Closing Ceremony.
The Closing Ceremony will be held at Qudos Bank Arena and will mark the end of the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 presented by Jaguar Land Rover. It is an opportunity to acknowledge the tremendous achievements of our competitors and enjoy performances from local and International Artists including Birds of Tokyo!
