The Authority seeks to maximise use of public transport by people visiting, living, working and studying at the Park; working collaboratively with Transport for NSW in reviewing and improving services. We also strongly encourage active transport, active walking and cycling is better for your well being and better for the environment. Day-to-day Public Transport at Sydney Olympic Park 

Trains run between Sydney Olympic Park Station and Lidcombe Station every ten minutes on weekdays.

Five bus routes regularly service Sydney Olympic Park, providing connections to Newington, Lidcombe, Burwood, Strathfield, Parramatta, Rhodes, Top Ryde and Chatswood.

Ferries operate between the Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf, the City and Parramatta.

Public Transport for Major Events at Sydney Olympic Park

Mass transit Integrated ticketing (train and bus travel) is included for all major events at the Park. In 2017 - 18 an average of 75% of major event patrons travelled to the Park by bus, coach or train. See what transport is available during major events at Sydney Olympic Park. 

Future Public Transport Connections at Sydney Olympic Park

The Authority worked collaboratively with Transport for NSW to progress the Parramatta Light Rail project and delivery of a light rail connection between Sydney Olympic Park and Parramatta and also to facilitate the announcement of the new Sydney West Metro project

Sydney Olympic Park Authority has even started a two-year trial of autonomous vehicles with a Driverless Shuttle Bus
