The Badu Mangrove boardwalk in Bicentennial Park opened in 1988 and now in the park’s 30th anniversary year will undergo a replacement program.
One third of the boardwalk has been replaced and is now open for public use.
We are continuing our replacement program on another large section of the boardwalk, and works will require a temporary closure until early September.
During this time, the community will need to make use of alternative pathways.
Works will take place Monday through to Saturday between 6.30am - 6pm.
We appreciate your understanding as we deliver this important replacement program to ensure this parkland asset can continue to be well-used by the community for decades to come.
