New pedestrian bridge a step closer to linking Bicentennial Park to town centre

11 Mar 2018

A new pedestrian land bridge deck has been set in place to provide an incredible new entrance to Bicentennial Park.

The land bridge was installed overnight and can be witnessed in this short timelapse video.

The bridge is a collaboration project between Sydney Olympic Park Authority and Ecove, with Ecove delivering this piece of infrastructure as part of its 390-unit residential development Opal Towers.

With the project anticipated to be complete mid year, the 13m wide bridge will provide a spectacular entrance to Bicentennial Park and a crucial connection between this expansive green space and the urban town centre.
