Metallica has confirmed that its record-breaking M72 World Tour will be coming to Australia and New Zealand in November of 2025. The dates will feature Metallica performing at the end of each stadium and will include the infamous Snake Pit extending from the front of the stage.
Getting there
Join other Metallica fans by catching a train or Major Event Bus to the concert
- The cost of travel already included in your concert ticket, public transport is the easiest way to get to the precinct – simply show your Metallica concert ticket to transport staff when boarding services.
- Express and limited-stop trains will run frequently to Olympic Park on concert day, with frequent return services after the show.
- Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run frequently on all nine routes from 3.35pm until 7.14pm, depending on the route.
Driving in?
- Parking is expected to sell out in advance, it is essential that you pre-book parking online to guarantee a car space.

- When driving to Sydney Olympic Park, please be courteous and respect local residents in the surrounding neighbourhoods by not parking illegally or obstructing residential driveways and streets.
- After the show, traffic will be very heavy as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
